India : Union Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Minister Dharmendra Pradhan signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Minister of Education Dr. Ahmad Al Falasi in Abu Dhabi during his three-day visit to the UAE. The MoU aims to enhance educational cooperation, student and faculty mobility, joint research programs, course design, conference participation, and more. It also focuses on mutual recognition of qualifications and collaboration in gifted and talented skills development, counselling, well-being, and academic programs between higher education institutions in both countries.

A Joint Working Group will be established to oversee the MoU’s implementation, promoting knowledge sharing between the UAE and India.

Minister Pradhan highlighted the importance of strengthening the partnership, considering the UAE’s status as a global economic hub and India’s role as a global talent hub. Both ministers expressed their commitment to facilitating student and workforce mobility, supporting Indian curriculum schools in the UAE, and enabling student exchange programs between the two nations.
