Rihanna Returns with Fenty x Puma Sneaker Design

Fenty x Puma is making a comeback! After a hiatus since 2017 due to Rihanna’s focus on her Fenty Beauty and Savage x Fenty ventures, the brand has returned with a new sneaker design called the Avanti. Rihanna, the creative director behind Fenty x Puma, expressed her excitement about the comeback, saying, “It’s a bit of a family reunion. Coming back to Puma as a mom, in a new space, allowed for new perspectives and ideas.”

The revival of Fenty x Puma begins with sneakers, which is where the brand initially made its mark in 2015 with iconic styles like the Creeper. The new Avanti sneakers, priced at $160, blend Puma’s King football boot and Easy Rider running shoe, paying tribute to the brand’s rich heritage. The design incorporates a vintage leather upper (available in black, white, or striking silver), a foldable tongue, and a gum sole.

Rihanna, who is now a mother of two, ensured that the Avanti style is available in children’s sizes as well, with prices at $95 for preschool sizes and $80 for infants. She shared, “This time around, we expanded our creations to kids, ’cause I selfishly want my boys in everything their dad and I wear or design.”

The Avanti sneakers will be globally available on Puma.com starting from September 15, with a second release scheduled for later in the fall. Fenty x Puma has more product launches in the pipeline, so stay tuned for more exciting releases!
