President Sheikh Mohamed has given the order for the Joint Operations Command of the Ministry of Defence to initiate a humanitarian operation aimed at supporting Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip.

Under the Gallant Knight 3 operation, the command will collaborate and coordinate with UAE humanitarian organizations, including the Emirates Red Crescent, Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, and Zayed bin Sultan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, to provide much-needed support.

President Sheikh Mohamed has also encouraged doctors registered with the Ministry of Health and Prevention and the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi to volunteer for this initiative. Additionally, individuals registered with the Red Crescent and other UAE humanitarian and charitable institutions are welcome to volunteer.

The UAE has expressed strong condemnation for Israel’s actions in the conflict in Gaza and has called for an immediate ceasefire to safeguard the lives of civilians.

As part of this effort, President Sheikh Mohamed has directed that 1,000 Palestinian children be brought to hospitals in the UAE for treatment, accompanied by their families. This follows a previous humanitarian aid operation by the UAE that supported people in Syria and Turkey affected by a devastating earthquake and its aftershocks.

Operation Gallant Knight 2, which spanned five months, focused on delivering relief supplies, medical equipment, and assistance to these countries through 260 flights.
