Dubai Fashion Week (DFW), one of the most prestigious fashion events in the region, is set to kick off at Dubai Design District (d3), co-founded by d3 and the Arab Fashion Council. The Guest of Honour for this season is Carolina Herrera, who will be unveiling their Spring-Summer 2024 collection, specially created for this occasion.
The runway shows begin tomorrow with a focus on sustainability, featuring presentations by Pipatchara, known for their handmade macrame techniques, and Lili Blanc, a luxury ready-to-wear label based in d3. Additionally, DFW Members Weinsanto, Lama Jouni, Dima Ayad, and Mrs. Keepa will showcase their collections during the event. In total, more than 25 designers from 12 countries will participate in DFW over the coming week.
What’s particularly exciting is the launch of the Mega Showroom at Dubai Fashion Week on October 10. This showroom, organized by the Arab Fashion Council and managed by FLTRD, introduces a designers’ pop-up B2B experience and the innovative ‘Shop the Runway’ concept, accessible to all fashion enthusiasts. The Mega Showroom is located at Building 11 in d3 and is open daily from 10 am to 9 pm.
