Jameel bin Muhammad Ali Humaidan, the Minister of Labour and Social Development and Chairman of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA)’s Board of Directors, held a meeting with Mohammed Zarkani, the outgoing Chief of Mission of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Bahrain.
During the meeting, Minister Humaidan expressed his appreciation for the ongoing cooperation between the Ministry and IOM. He commended the organization’s support in promoting a safe working environment and enhancing the qualifications of national talents and expertise, particularly in the critical area of combating human trafficking.
Minister Humaidan also reiterated Bahrain’s commitment to strengthening collaborations with various specialized international organizations. He praised the dedicated efforts of Mohammed Zarkani during his tenure and wished him continued success in his endeavors.
In response, Mohammed Zarkani praised Bahrain’s global efforts in combating human trafficking, fostering a secure environment, and fortifying the framework for human rights and worker protection.
