Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Bin Dainah, the Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, held a meeting with Dr. Carsten Poppinga, the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Uniper, during the ADIPEC Exhibition and Conference 2023.
The meeting was attended by Mark Thomas, Group Chief Executive Officer at Bapco Energies, and Faihan Mohammed Al Faihani, acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil and Environment.
The discussions centered on Uniper’s capabilities in the realm of energy evolution and the hydrogen economy. Additionally, both parties explored potential cooperation in clean energy projects that align with Bahrain’s goal of achieving carbon neutrality by the year 2060. This meeting reflects efforts to promote sustainable and clean energy solutions in the region.
