Miral, a prominent creator of immersive destinations and experiences in Abu Dhabi, has unveiled its comprehensive Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy. This strategy aims to make a positive impact on society and is rooted in Miral’s longstanding commitment to the communities it serves.
Over the next two years, Miral plans to launch and execute more than 80 economic, social, and environmental initiatives and programs across its business and subsidiaries, including Miral Experiences, Miral Destinations, and Yas Asset Management.
Mohamed Abdalla Al Zaabi, Group CEO of Miral, emphasized the company’s dedication to creating world-class experiences and contributing to sustainable development. The CSR strategy aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and seeks to position Abu Dhabi as a global leader in eco-tourism and sustainable tourism.
Miral’s CSR strategy is organized around eight key pillars, all aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. These pillars encompass skill development, education, social welfare, health and wellness, sports promotion, arts, culture, and tourism, as well as environmental and animal welfare initiatives.
Miral Group intends to become a more socially responsible organization by implementing transformative initiatives and measuring their impact for continuous improvement. Their commitment to CSR is underscored by a dedicated steering committee overseeing these efforts.
This CSR strategy also aligns with Miral Group’s brand pillars, emphasizing the importance of its employees’ commitment and passion, positive community impact, and consideration of environmental sustainability.
Miral Group plans to announce and launch additional initiatives under this CSR strategy in the coming months, all while focusing on the growth and development of Yas Island and other leisure and entertainment ventures in Abu Dhabi. Their long-term goal is to contribute to the diversification of Abu Dhabi’s economy while providing exceptional experiences and promoting social and environmental responsibility.
