FIBA 3×3 World Tour Abu Dhabi Masters 2023: 14 teams confirmed

The FIBA 3×3 World Tour Abu Dhabi Masters 2023 tournament is scheduled to take place at the Hazza bin Zayed Stadium in Al-Ain on October 28 and 29. This tournament is organized by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council in collaboration with the International Basketball Federation (FIBA).

It is the last masters event of the current season where teams can earn points for qualification for the Paris Olympics in the following year. The final points tally for the participating teams will be determined on November 1.

Fourteen teams have been confirmed to participate in the competition, including Olympic medalists and some of the most prominent 3×3 basketball players in the world.

Suhail Al-Arifi, the executive director of the events sector at the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, extended a warm welcome to the participating teams in Al-Ain, a city that recently won the title of Gulf Tourism Capital 2025. He wished success to all the teams and encouraged fans to enjoy the championship.

Dejan Majstorovic from UB (Serbia), a returning player to Abu Dhabi, expressed his excitement about being back in Abu Dhabi, where he previously won the World Championship finals last year and in 2015 with the Novi Sad team. He praised the excellent organization and the enthusiasm of the fans, making it one of his favorite tournaments every year.

The tournament village, located next to Hazza bin Zayed Stadium, will offer fans an exciting experience, including food stalls, artistic and musical performances, a warmup area for players, and merchandise.

The confirmed teams for the event include: UB (Serbia), Miami (US), Liman (Serbia), Beijing (China), Partizan (Serbia), San Juan (Puerto Rico), Lausanne (Switzerland), Wuxi (China), Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), Omaha (US), Pirot (Serbia), Manila Chooks (Philippines), Chonchi (Chile), and Abu Dhabi (UAE).
