New York University’s Stern School of Business (NYU Stern) has joined forces with NYU Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) to introduce the Stern at NYUAD one-year full-time MBA Program in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Applications for this program will open in October 2023, with the inaugural class set to begin in January 2025 and graduate in December 2025.
The main goal of this program is to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the rapidly evolving business landscape of the UAE and the wider MENA region.
Students in the Stern at NYUAD MBA Program will participate in a combination of educational modules, with spring and fall sessions held in Abu Dhabi and summer modules in New York. They will also have access to industry experts and global business leaders for learning opportunities.
Dean of NYU Stern School of Business, Raghu Sundaram, highlighted the program’s potential to educate future leaders in a region experiencing significant growth.
The Stern at NYUAD MBA Program is poised to enhance NYUAD’s academic offerings and aligns with the UAE’s focus on education as a national priority. Tamkeen, NYU’s partner in the UAE, has supported NYUAD’s trajectory.
NYUAD Vice Chancellor Mariët Westermann emphasized the program’s role in advancing education in the UAE and beyond, providing an opportunity to elevate international business education.
The Stern at NYUAD one-year full-time MBA Program will be led by Robert Salomon, Professor of Management at Stern since 2005, who will serve as the inaugural Dean of Stern at NYUAD.
Upon successful completion of the MBA program, graduates will receive a fully accredited New York University degree, jointly conferred by NYU Stern and NYU Abu Dhabi.
