Crown Prince Gets Call from Palestinian President

His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received a telephone call today from Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. During the conversation, they discussed the military escalation taking place in Gaza and the surrounding areas, expressing concern over the deteriorating situation that poses a threat to the lives of civilians and the security and stability of the region.

HRH the Crown Prince underscored the Kingdom’s dedication to making every possible effort to engage with both international and regional parties to halt the ongoing escalation and prevent its further spread in the region. He also emphasized the utmost importance of adhering to international humanitarian law and refraining from targeting civilians.

Furthermore, HRH the Crown Prince reiterated the Kingdom’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people in their pursuit of legitimate rights, their quest for a dignified life, the realization of their hopes and aspirations, and the achievement of a just and enduring peace.

In response, the Palestinian president expressed profound gratitude to the leadership of the Kingdom. He appreciated the Kingdom’s steadfast stance and the continuous efforts it makes to stand by the Palestinian people and support their just cause.
