HRH the Crown Prince Performs Funeral Prayers

Today, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister, attended a funeral service for two brave Bahrain Defence Force soldiers. These soldiers were part of the Arab Coalition Forces and had been serving at the southern border of Saudi Arabia as part of Operation Decisive Storm and Operation Restoring Hope.

His Royal Highness took a moment to remember and honor these fallen servicemen for their dedication, courage, and loyalty to Bahrain while fulfilling their important national duty.

He offered his heartfelt condolences to the families of the fallen soldiers and expressed his pride and compassion for their noble sacrifices. Additionally, he wished a speedy recovery to those who were injured.

The funeral prayers were also attended by the Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force, HE Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the National Security Advisor and Commander of the Royal Guard, His Highness Lieutenant-General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the Commander of the Royal Guard Special Force, His Highness Staff Colonel Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa. They joined in offering their condolences to the bereaved families.

HE Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed, HH Lieutenant General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad, and HH Staff Colonel Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad expressed their pride in the fallen servicemen of the Bahrain Defense Force, acknowledging their sacrifices and loyalty to Bahrain and its citizens. They emphasized that these brave individuals continue to be a source of pride and serve as role models for the nation.

During the burial ceremony and funeral prayers, His Royal Highness was accompanied by other esteemed individuals, including His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, and the Bahrain Defence Force Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi.
