Armenia has made it easier for tourists from the UAE to visit by simplifying its visa regulations. Now, Emirati passport holders can enjoy visa-free travel for up to 180 days within a year. This rule also applies to those with UAE residency visas.
The head of Armenia’s Tourism Committee, Sisian Boghossian, stated that citizens from more than 50 countries, including Egypt, India, Iraq, Morocco, the Philippines, and Saudi Arabia, can obtain a visa upon arrival or through e-visa if they hold a valid resident card issued by GCC member states, which includes the UAE.
These changes in visa regulations aim to promote cultural exchange, tourism, and stronger ties between Armenia and the UAE. Armenia is now more accessible to UAE tourists, with its convenient location and affordability making it an attractive destination. The country offers a wide range of activities, from ziplining, water rafting, paragliding, to winter sports, ensuring a well-rounded experience for visitors.
Armenia’s proximity, affordability, rich culture, delicious cuisine, and beautiful landscapes make it a popular choice for UAE travelers seeking a unique and unexplored destination. Beyond the capital, Armenia has picturesque winter landscapes and a variety of snow-related activities, making it a year-round tourist destination. The country also features hidden gems like a grape spa in Ararat Valley, scenic locations such as Lake Sevan, historic monasteries, churches, and cultural heritage sites.
