Saudi Arabia Forms Higher Commission to Host Historic 2034 FIFA World Cup™

His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has announced the establishment of a “Higher Commission for Hosting the 2034 World Cup,” following FIFA’s declaration of Saudi Arabia as the host nation for the prestigious event.

As per the sources of Leaders, HRH the Crown Prince will lead the Board of Directors of the commission, comprising prominent ministers and officials from diverse sectors, including sports, culture, finance, tourism, and logistics. The board members include Minister of Sport Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif, Minister of Culture Prince Badr bin Abdullah, and Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) President Yasser Al Misehal, among others.

The commission’s formation underscores Saudi Arabia’s dedication to delivering an exceptional edition of the FIFA World Cup™, the first to feature 48 teams from across all continents.
