Germany-based consulting and engineering firm Dorsch Global has been awarded a five-year consultancy contract by Saudi Arabia’s National Water Company (NWC) to oversee and manage 253 water and wastewater projects.
According to the sources of Leaders team, the agreement, worth 826 million Saudi riyals ($220 million), spans two major geographical clusters in the Kingdom.
As stated in a press statement, the southern region cluster includes supervision of 154 projects valued at 490 million SAR, while the northwestern region cluster includes 99 projects worth 336 million SAR. Dorsch Global’s role will involve design reviews, contract management, construction management, supervision, and testing and commissioning activities for these critical infrastructure projects.
The consultancy deal reflects Saudi Arabia’s ongoing investments in its water and wastewater sectors as part of its Vision 2030 initiative. In addition to this contract, Dorsch Global is involved in other prominent projects in the Kingdom, including Riyadh’s Intelligent Transportation System and the Urban Forestation Green Riyadh initiative.
This latest partnership underscores Dorsch Global’s growing presence in the Middle East and its commitment to supporting large-scale infrastructure development in Saudi Arabia.
