As per the Leaders Asia sources, The Georgian Dream party, which has been in power for years, has faced criticism for its growing authoritarian stance and its handling of the protests.

As tensions escalate, the West has expressed concern, with the EU and the US condemning the violent response to protesters and calling for a return to democratic values. Georgian officials, however, have defended their actions, claiming they are protecting the country from attempts to destabilize it. Meanwhile, many Georgians continue to demand a clear path toward EU integration and a rejection of Russian influence.
