Trade ministers from the Group of Seven (G7) nations, representing advanced industrial economies, have committed to collaborating to ensure the smooth flow of essential goods like food and energy amid ongoing global geopolitical and economic uncertainties. They emphasized the need to work closely with international partners beyond the G7 and engage with the private sector to enhance the resilience of supply chains. This decision was reached during the G7 Trade Ministers’ meeting held in Osaka, Japan. The ministers aim to foster inclusive and sustainable growth by reinforcing resilient supply chains and strengthening cooperation with trusted public and private sector partners.
