British Airways has launched new flights from London Gatwick to Accra, Ghana. The inaugural flight arrived at Kotoka International Airport with a warm welcome, including dancers, drummers, and a VIP delegation. The flights will initially operate three times a week and will expand to four weekly flights from April next year. This new route provides more options for travelers and doubles the number of seats between Accra and London. British Airways will also offer an exclusive Afrobeats playlist curated by DJ Cuppy for passengers. Ghana is a member of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
