Badr Al Meer Appointed New CEO of Qatar Airways and COO of Doha Hamad International Airport
Engineer Badr Al Meer has been named the new CEO of Qatar Airways, starting on November 5. He will take over from Akbar Al Baker, who concluded his impressive 27-year leadership of the airline.
Al Meer, a highly experienced aviation professional from Qatar, will also assume the role of Chief Operating Officer at Doha Hamad International Airport. His appointment is to maintain and build upon the airline’s tradition of excellence. Qatar Airways is placing its trust in his leadership to guide the airline into the future.
