On the sidelines of the 22nd Doha Forum, Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, participated in a crucial meeting alongside his counterparts from Jordan, Iraq, Qatar, and Egypt. The meeting focused on the ongoing situation in Syria and was held in collaboration with countries involved in the Astana Process, including Iran, Türkiye, and Russia. UN Special Envoy for Syria, Geir Pedersen, also attended the discussions.
As per the sources of Leaders, during the meeting, representatives discussed the evolving political and humanitarian dynamics in Syria, exploring avenues for diplomatic solutions and highlighting the need for further dialogue between the involved parties. Prince Faisal was joined by Saudi Ambassador to Qatar, Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan, and Abdulrahman Al-Dawood, Director-General of the Foreign Minister’s Office, among others.
